These are the counts in our own dictionary, not a transcription of the official list. HSK 3.0 folds levels 7, 8 and 9 into a single score-banded exam, which is why the table stops at 7-9.

About HSK 3.0 itself

HSK 3.0 replaced the six-level HSK 2.0 with nine levels and a published vocabulary of 11 092 words. Levels 7 to 9 are assessed by one score-banded exam that adds translation and an oral component. It became the operative standard worldwide in July 2026, which is why most Chinese-learning material you will find online is still labelled against the old six levels.
